FASA REBRANDED

Florida State Soccer Association is proud to announce its rebranding including a name change and new logo design. Now named the Florida Adult Soccer Association (FASA), the largest adult soccer organization within the State of Florida, showcasing its commitment to its mission statement and all adult soccer players throughout the sunshine state.

Along with the name change, FASA announced a new logo design honoring its past, how it all began, while celebrating its future. The rebranding includes a new logo design which has been in development since 2020 when discussions of a potential name change began. With the design work of Giovanni Taliaferro (VP of a member league), we were able to develop an identity mark showcasing the new name, FASA’s mission and dedication to adult soccer, the history of our association, and the commitment of its founders and members.

The new logo design includes elements that emphasize where FASA all began. Two contemporary and stylized palm trees represent the two FASA Hall of Fame members, Mario “Mack” Alarcon and Ernie Di Leonardo, who started it all off in the early 1960’s by kicking a soccer ball in a Miami park. With the assistance of these two individuals our association was formed and blossomed for over 50 years. Each palm tree has four palm fronds representing the first four leagues that registered with the association in 1966. (Central Florida Soccer League, Gold Coast Soccer League, South Florida Soccer League, and Florida Suncoast Soccer League). The orange ball represents the state fruit and the central hexagon panel pointed south honors the location in South Florida where it all began. The 10-pointed rising sun, represents the sunshine state and honors the first 10 elected association officers after becoming a full affiliate of the United States Soccer Football Association in 1967.

The Florida Adult Soccer Association is rolling our renewed content with the new name and logo which can be found on its website and social media platforms.
